Nyarna (Lake Stretch)
| This is a large permanent billabong on Sturt Creek located fifteen kilometres from Billiluna, just off the northern end of the Canning Stock Route. This place is associated with the mythological Two Brothers Story. The brothers passed away and transformed into ancestor trees that now watch over and look after Nyarna. Camping, bird watching, walking and fishing are activities that can be undertaken here. Visitors must bring all their own supplies. |
