Nguyuru Waaringarrem Halls Creek Music Festival

Halls Creek has a rich music tradition. Country singers Kevin Gunn, Peter Brandy, Geoffrey Fletcher and Ernie Bridge all hail from Halls Creek. So too does the country rock band Walkabout Boys (from Yiyili Community) and bush balladeer Keith Lethbridge.

The inaugural festival was held on Saturday 28 August 2010. Over 1500 people enjoyed a full program of traditional dance, hip hop, country and western, country rock, choir, comedy, fireworks, a broad range of children's activities and music and dance workshops.
